Alabama Spelling Bee

What an honor it is to sponsor the Madison County Spelling Bee for over 50 years! Fifty-six students from across the area will compete to “bee”come the Madison County Spelling Bee Champion. In addition to prizes given, one bright student will continue on to the Alabama Spelling Bee, vying for State Champion and then on to Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Key Club/Circle K International Scholarships

Our Kiwanis club raises funds for Key Club and Circle K International (CKI) college scholarships every year through our annual Pancake Breakfast where promotional sponsorships banners are sold varying big to small banners that are hung at the day of the event.

Key Club Sponsorships

Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide scholarships for the Key Club students. We launched and mentor the first STEM-based Key Club to support the development and implementation of technology and science-based solutions as service projects. Projects include vaccine monitoring systems and tracking and training tools for the American Red Cross. We are currently sponsoring the following Kiwanis Key clubs:
